1)  Self-Supporting Hull

2) Perimeter Heat-Lock® Insulation
Arctic Spas® Perimeter Heat-Lock Insulation System is designed to minimize heat loss and maximize energy efficiency.  Since we are not a "Full-Foamed" hot tub, a high density urethane foam is applied to the floor, cabinet walls, and doors to create a dead air cavity on the interior of the spa.  The insulation structure is similar to that used in houses in most of North America.  Unlike most spas, Arctic Spas'®
heaters, pumps, and other equipment are
housed on the interior of this insulating structure. 
The advantage: Just like it sounds, HEAT-LOCK®. 
We trap the hot air that is ultimately released from
the motors, inside these insulated walls, and that
hot air fills the cavity.  Without the ability to escape
the cabinet, the heat energy is transfered through
the fiberglass shell and into the tubs water, thus
creating less of a need to continuously run the
heater.  The water in the tub is acting as a heat
sink, pulling the heat from inside the cabinet,
therefore lengthening the life of the equipment. 
Also, think of the heat transfer from the opposite
direction across the fiberglass shell.  In the event
of a power outage, the equipment shuts down
and no heat is created inside the cabinet. 
However, the water in the tub will now transfer
its energy back into the cabinet, creating internal
freeze protection.  Arctic Spas® will go multiple
days, with no power, in sub-zero weather, and will
NOT FREEZE!! 

3) Access
Arctic Spas® have access doors on all sides of the spa.  This, again, is an advantage we have by not "full-foaming" the
interior of the spa.  In the event service is
needed on the spa, a technician can simply
remove the access doors, evaluate the issue,
and repair the spa as needed without having
to dig through inch upon inch of foam insulation. 
Also, now your new tub is completely
upgradeable!  As new technologies advance,
so can your spa by, again, simply removing the
access doors and installing new componets or
hardware

Other "Full-Foamed" hot tubs use a small equipment area to house pumps, heaters and other equipment.  They spray the interior of the spa with foam and then vent the heat energy out as to not expose the equipment to high temperatures in such a small space.

With other tubs, a technician must flip the tub on edge and start digging through foam insulation.  The real challenge is to not create more problems by cutting through water hoses encased in foam.

4) Forever Floor®
Composed of handrolled fiberglass composites, this floor is impervious to moisture, pests and time.  It completely eliminates the need for foundation materials such as concrete,
decking, or paver stones.  Installed with this one
of a kind Forever Floor®, simply level the existing
ground, whether it be, grass, dirt, pea-gravel, etc.,
and have your delivery crew place the spa right
down on top of that!!  And now your portable spa
is truly portable!!  If you move your spa to a different
location in the backyard, or if you move it all the way
across town, take your foundation with you!!

5) Castcore® 5" Polar Cover
Only Arctic Spas® Castcore® covers mould the entire foam core around a steel reinforcement in the exact shape of every spa model, which means, no cuts in the foam, no moisture
soaking into the faom, and no costly electrical
bills due to heat loss through a thin under-built
cover.  As an added feature, all Castcore®
covers come with an insulating baffle between
the cover halves to prevent heat loss along the
